What's new with the Kaloud Lotus 1+

The Kaloud Lotus has become a benchmark for hookah enthusiasts who want to use natural charcoal with a practical and efficient heat management system.

This new version features straight edges that make it easier to position the coals. It can now hold 3 standard natural charcoal cubes measuring 2.5 cm per side, without having to break them.

This improvement makes it easier to use standard-sized charcoal while retaining the operating principle of the Kaloud heat management system.

How does the Kaloud Lotus work?

The Kaloud Lotus sits on top of your hookah bowl and manages the heat produced by natural charcoal. It helps you control heat distribution throughout your session.

The coals are placed inside the heat management device. It helps distribute heat and limit direct contact between the coals and the shisha tobacco.

To use your Kaloud Lotus 1+ properly, you must use fully lit natural charcoal. The system is not designed to light charcoal that is still unlit.

A few tips for safe use

Before installing your Kaloud Lotus 1+, make sure your natural charcoal is fully lit using a suitable charcoal burner.

Once the coals are sufficiently lit, place them inside the heat management system. You can use up to 3 standard cubes measuring 2.5 cm per side without breaking them.

Do not start your session with unlit coals: the Kaloud Lotus is not a substitute for a charcoal burner.

Always handle the heat management device carefully during and after your session. The coals and the Kaloud become extremely hot. Use a suitable tool to handle them and allow everything to cool completely before touching or storing it.
