Phunnel bowls were initially created a few years ago in the USA by the Tangiers brand. They have been experiencing a growing success on Western markets. Phunnel bowls were designed for smoking Premium tobacco (very wet) and steam stones. Indeed, these bowls are equipped with a raised central hole which allows the air flow while keeping the juice at the bottom.

The Nargilem XL Phunnel bowl is a modern bowl og 10cm height and has an 8cm diameter. It offers the advantage of being easy to use, even for beginners as it requires no tobacco preparation. Thanks to the Phunnel bowl, you just have to take the tobacco and place it directly into the bowl without further preparations. This bowl is compatible with all hookah brands since it fits thin seals and MOD seal types. 

Remember to adjust the heating power of your coal depending the bowl you are using. The Nargilem XL Phunnel bowl is extremely large. In addition you will put a very wet tobacco, which requires a substantial amount of heat. therefore prefer 40mm coals or natural coals to get the most out of your XL bowl. And remember that the humidity of the tobacco, the bowl size and the heating power used are proportional.
